638 499 (“AIFS”, “we”, “our” or “us”)
and its divisions, protects the privacy of visitors to our websites and
your personal information. You are not required to tell us who you are
nor reveal any information about yourself. This statement demonstrates
our firm commitment to privacy.

part of a database), whether true or not, and whether recorded in a material

this will be collected by us when you deal with us in either person, by

AIFS collects personal information and details about you necessary for
the purpose of providing cultural exchange programs and associated services.
For example, we may collect details such as your name, date of birth,
mailing address, telephone number, email address, educational background,
work experience and other information relevant to AIFS program eligibility
or related to the issuance of insurance policies or visas. We may also
collect information that is required for use in the business activities
of AIFS including financial details necessary in order to process various
transactions.
We will use your personal information necessary for us to provide our
services to you. We do not share any information with unrelated third
parties nor do we collect or retain any information other than is required
for the provision of our products or services.

purposes:
• Developing, improving and marketing our products and services;

program updates, information on promotional incentives, services we think
may be of interest to you or to involve you in market research;

Where we engage third party contractors to perform services for us, those
third party contractors may be required to handle your personal information.

On-line applications for some AIFS programs may request personal and financial
information. Required fields are indicated and acceptance to an AIFS program
will depend on this information. AIFS has a secure server to handle credit
card information and has implemented appropriate physical, electronic
and managerial security procedures in order to protect personal information
from loss, misuse, alteration or destruction.
Personal information collected by AIFS and our websites is stored in secure
operating environments that are not available to the public. AIFS will
protect your personal information no matter where we process or store
your data.
In providing our services to you, it will be necessary for us to forward
personal and supportive information to relevent AIFS overseas operations
and relevant entities. By submitting your personal data to AIFS, you consent
to the transfer of your personal information.
Subject to the exceptions set out in the Australian Commonwealth Privacy
Act (1988), we invite you to correct any personal information we may hold
on you. If we deny access, we will provide you with reasons for such denial.
