Au Pair in America is a unique gap year for Australians to spend 12 months living with an American family to care for their children as an au pair.

Au Pair in America applicants receive:

- A pre-arranged placement for 12 months with a selected US host family
- A 4-day all expenses paid orientation and training session on arrival in New York
- Weekly stipend of up to US$250 per week
- Sponsored US Visa and the option of extending this for a further 6, 9 or 12 months
- All meals and accommodation
- Two weeks paid holiday
- US$ part-time study allowance
- Subsidised flight to the US
- 24-hour back-up, support and emergency assistance

AuPair in America applicants must:
- Enjoy caring for children and have relevant practical childcare / baby sitting experience
- Have completed year 10 at high school
- Have a valid drivers license (‘P’ plates ok!)
- Be aged 18-26 years (US Govt. Visa regulation).
- Agree to a national police check.
