Au Pair in America

Au Pair in America nanny
Au Pair in America is our standard and most popular au pair program.

To apply you must:

  • Be aged between 18 and 26 years
  • Have 200 hours of non-family related childcare experience gathered within the last three years
  • Have a valid driver’s license

Program features:

  • Work up to 45 hours per week
  • Weekly payment of US$ 197.75
  • US$ 500 study allowance
  • 3 hours study at a local college/university per week

Au Pair Extraordinaire

AuPair in America
Au Pair Extraordinaire is designed for applicants  who already work in childcare or have a qualification.

To apply you must:

  • Be aged between 20 and 26 years
  • Have 2 years of full- time consecutive childcare experience OR a diploma of community services or bachelor of teaching (early childhood education)
  • Have a valid driver’s license

Program features:

  • Work up to 45 hours per week
  • Weekly payment of US$250
  • US$ 500 study allowance
  • 3 hours study at a local college/university per week

Educare

Educare
The Educare program is designed for applicants who’d like to focus on studying.

To apply you must:

  • Be aged between 18 and 26 years
  • Have 200 hours of non-family related childcare experience gathered within the last three years

Program Features: 

  • Work up to 30 hours per week
  • Weekly payment of US$ 146.81
  • US$ 1000 study allowance
  • 6 hours study at a local college/university per week

All three program types include a basic medical and personal liability, 2 weeks of paid vacation, at least 1.5 days off per week and one complete weekend off per month, an optional travel month at the end of the year, a 4 days orientation course near New York City and a year long support from your Cluster Counselor.

Please note that the programs run for a minimum of 12 months. After successfully completing the year, participants have the opportunity to extend their stay for another 6 or 12 months.
